Kindergarten Outdoor Design Case

In order to match the architectural style of the Korean kindergarten, we chose this British-style design, integrating the double-decker bus and the red telephone booth into the design of the amusement facilities, providing children with a fun game space and an interesting way to reflect British traditions and culture. In terms of functions, climbing frames, slides, suspension bridges and other functions have been added to promote the development of children's physical fitness, including the growth of courage, strength, flexibility and cognitive skills.

Design Concept

A part of Big Ben has been designed as the entrance to a slide, where children can climb up along a simulated internal staircase of Big Ben, as if they were inside this historic clock tower. When they reach the top, they will find a small observation deck where they can enjoy a moment of 'overlooking' fun, just like standing at the very top of the real Big Ben.

The design of the play area incorporates classic red double-decker buses and iconic red telephone booths. This unique playground not only provides a fun-filled space for children to play but also serves as an engaging way to introduce British traditions and culture to the younger generation.

Bringing a visual feast to children

The interaction between light and objects creates shadows, highlighting the contours and forms of the objects themselves. Through the principle of light and shadow imaging, vivid scenes are constructed. Children can freely explore these scenes composed of light and shadow, moving between reality and illusion, which greatly stimulates their perception, imagination, and creative thinking.

In addition, many interesting space-themed elements have been incorporated into the design, such as structures that mimic the appearance of spacecraft, making the entire toy both practical and fun. Furthermore, to enhance interactivity and entertainment, various play facilities such as climbing frames, tunnels, and suspension bridges have been added. These features aim to comprehensively promote the physical development of children, including aspects like courage, strength, flexibility, and cognitive skills.
